Link Love for CommentLuv Blogs Part 1 of 3

I finally added this plugin to this blog and wanted to thank all the other bloggers out there that have it installed. I also installed Lucia’s LinkyLove plugin. That means comments are dofollow after 10 comments from the same person. I would set it down to three but the Options menu does not show up although I can tell the plugin is working because My comments here are dofollow due to the amount of trackbacks.

This is one of probably three parts. I gathered about 350 links and started going through them checking them manually to make sure they all used the CommentLuv plugin. If you don’t have it yourself, you can get it at the first link on this list. These are the first 100 blogs I found. If you already have the plugin installed or install it after reading this post, make sure and leave a comment and I will get you in one of the upcoming lists. And if you like it make sure to bookmark it.

An interesting thing I discovered is that a lot of this blogs also have Entrecard widgets. I will be putting mine up here shortly which I had Funk13 do who also designed the banner and favicon. Currently he is helping me put the finishing touches on this theme. It’s still a little rough around the edges. You can see my new Entrecard over at CmsNerd.

I just found out there are a couple of linklove plugins. The one I had installed wasn’t Lucia’s, so I installed that one. Now all comments here will be dofollow after three comments.

Thanks everyone. As far as how I found them all, I used Google results and cleaned it down to one url per domain and then went through those url’s one at a time to make sure they were blogs that had CommentLuv installed and didn’t just mention the plugin. That’s why this is three part. The rest of the list is just raw until I go through it.
One social site managed to sneak on this list. I must have missed it somehow.

I have kept this one a little quiet for a while. I haven’t promoted it as much because it’s still a little sloppy here. But it’s getting there.
I guess this would be the real “money making blog” I own. The other one is more the infrastructure of making money online.
Plus I do have a few spread out across a few domains. Niche blogs. They used to be minisites until I got more into blogging.

You might consider ‘dropping the bar’ a bit with your 3 comment rule - after all you vet every comment BEFORE you OK it, so you catch the SPAM anyway, and your commentators will get a better experience with an instant link if the comment is valid!

That is as low I can set it. I did have another dofollow plugin that did it instantly but it would make some comments invisible. It was a known issue with it. And Lucia’s Linky Love will only let you set it this low. I have thought about going in and editing the plugin manually, but I don’t have the time right now.

Blog comments work well for backlinks but you can’t stop there. The point is to have a variety of different types of links pointing at your site.

I also installed Lucia’s LinkyLove plugin. That means comments are dofollow after 10 comments from the same person.

Thanks for throwing light on this. I never knew getting a link from a ‘nofollow’ blog too would be useful. How to find if ‘LinkyLove’ is installed ?

As far as another person’s blog goes, you can install a Firefox addon like SEO for Firefox that will make all nofollow links on the page have a pink background.

Now all comments here will be dofollow after three comments.

Is there any way one can find such plug in ‘Lucia’s LinkyLove’ has been installed and the ones comments will be ‘dofollow’ after marking certain number of comments ?

CommentLuv isn’t necessarily dofollow. They are both separate plugins.

@Alex Yeah, that is the problem with these lists that I started. Now I have about 20 spread across two blogs all in serious need of an update. And each time I find a new category to build a list around, there is another one.
